About our Company:
Grace and James is for the little girl who wears Chuck Taylors with her smocked dress and ruffled socks and the little boy who makes his mother mud-pies while sporting his appliquéd long-alls. We know that the stains will fade but the memories will last forever. That’s why we aim to provide classic and affordable children’s clothes that are made to be played in for years and years to come.
Who we are: We are an online children’s boutique carrying high-quality, classic children’s clothes. We offer in-stock collections on our site as well as pre-order items. We hope to be your one stop shop for coordinating sibling sets, boys and girls playsuits, and newborn sizes.
About Picture Examples:
-The Beaufort Bonnet Company Example:
I am wondering if the simplicity of this is really the way to go. It shows the monogram and whole company name. On their site, the same fonts are used on the tabs to access the different categories. This is one of the BIGGEST/HOTTEST baby stores right now so I do not want people to think that I am copying them but I do love the logo and design.
-In the pictures, the wreath and bow-with my daughter standing nearby...she doesn't need to be in the logo-shows my initial thoughts on the “decorative” part of the logo and others show the bow/floral design that I have used throughout my daughter’s nursery and that I like.
-I think that each of the other examples are things that I would be happy with and describe "classic, vintage, southern, and fun"
- I like the fonts used in the examples that I sent-they look very custom and not like something you'd find in Word.
-Also like the idea of a "watercolor" looking wreath with two children's silhouettes (girl and boy) facing each other (see example "Watercolor Wreath"-remove camera and add silhouettes- below)
