Logo Design Brief

I had a puppy (named Keen) I sold from my one and only litter, he was a prospect that didn't make the big time, but when he came up for sale, I wanted him back for my use (small time). His price was beyond me but I made and sold handmade leashes at the sheepdog trials until I made enough (200 @ $20 each) to buy him back, thus the birth of Real Keen Leashes.

I've formed a company to be able to sell these Leashes at more events. I need a simple but fun logo that will be identifiable as THE symbol of my leash. Having a Border Collie and sheep on my logo will help attract the customers who I think will want my leash.

I like photo-real cartoony images, clean, blocky or retro-style font, and still have consideration for the snooty-sophisticates of the fiber art world. My earliest homegrown logo was a needle felted Keen pushing along a group of whimsically colored sheep on an Irish knit gray tweedy sweater...background being neutral, keen being black and white and unnaturally colorful sheep (thus the colorful wool leashes).

I have a Facebook page for reference of some of those images. Another image I like is the 2016 USBCHA Carbondale Sheepdog Finals logo.
