I'm the founder of Audaviv, an online jewelry shop offering multiple designer brands. We need a logo that is minimalistic, dainty, sophisticated and modern. I'm looking for a clean design, something that you will not find on a DYI logo website. No tacky jewelry icons please. Currently, the logo I have is too harsh and strong for this category. This is because I started out selling other categories and recently narrowed the focus to exclusively jewelry.
My goal is to offer customers a place to discover modern, dainty and beautiful jewelry from different designers/brands. The collection of designers will always stay fresh and change, so there is no one look that we are committed to carrying.
The logo needs to capture the overall essence of jewelry, without being overt about it. I want Audaviv to be the brand people think about when they want to discover new jewelry designers and brands.
COLORS (Color logo ideas. I would love to see logos in multiple colors to see what looks better): Creme/Nude/Beige/Blush Pink/Gray/Black/White
FONTS: I like uppercase for the "AUDAVIV" portion of the logo. For the tagline, please use all lowercase. For example: "for the jewelry enthusiast" I also really like the idea of a modern, handwritten, elegant looking font for the tagline. Please only sans serif fonts. The AUDAVIV part of the logo should contrast with the font used for the tagline.
ICON: Get creative here. I'm looking to you for ideas on something that gives the feel of jewelry, without being overt or tacky! Please no diamond icons...that's something that's clearly overdone in this space. My taste in jewelry is more modern, dainty and minimalistic - as such the logo should reflect that.

About Audaviv:
Audaviv is the shop for jewelry enthusiasts. With so much clutter and junk, it can be a struggle to find jewelry you love. For years, I've come across two main types of jewelry: Trendy, cheap jewelry that quickly falls apart (and everyone else is wearing, making it unappealing if you want something distinctive) or luxury designer jewelry that is too expensive.
I launched Audaviv to discover the exceptions. I travel all over Europe and attend fashion shows searching for jewelry that is modern, made well, and is sensibly priced.
At Audaviv, you will find jewelry from independent brands - with particular focus on up-and-coming designers. Audaviv's jewelry is handmade with quality materials, is never mass produced, and is not sold at big-box retailers.

Requirements
Must have
- The feel of the logo must be minimalistic, dainty and modern. It must capture the aura of the jewelry segment - without being overt/tacky. It should carefully incorporate the use of color. Think feminine and minimalistic (please refer to the brand characteristics in the brief).
Nice to have
- Open to ideas, but preferably no overt/tacky jewelry icon on the logo (e.g. a diamond ring). I think that's old and overdone. It would be amazing to see the integration of jewelry into the logo, but done in a very subtle and elegant way.
Should not have
- No tacky icons. Nothing that can be found in an DYI logo website.
