Logo Design Brief
Journey Church is a vibrant, young, contemporary, growing church situated in the Antelope Valley of Southern California. The Antelope Valley is part of the high desert region directly east of Los Angeles.
As our name implies, we believe a relationship with Jesus is not about a single point in time or a destination where we finally “arrive.” A relationship with Jesus is a bold, life-long adventure of growing in our love for God, love for others, and making a big difference in the places God leads us.
Our desire in rebranding is to communicate that we’re all fellow travelers on a journey toward God. None of us are perfect but all of us can encourage and support one another as we take the next step. We value beauty, excellence, and simplicity. The logo needs to promote the idea of growth, boldness, movement in a common direction, youthfulness, and vibrancy. The color scheme needs to be more masculine than feminine.
Our present logo is attached. We believe the symbolism communicates more confusion that direction.
