The Forgotten Gospel Conference (Poster or Color Flyer)
Add your question or comments below
You have certainly "Forgotten the Gospel," because that is not the message of the Bible. Heaven and Hell are both real destinations. The decision is not on God, but on the part of every individual to receive or reject the sacrifice of Jesus for their sin. John 3:16-19 in the Bible you hold dear says clearly "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
Yes, the love of God is relentless and He wants all to come to Him and not perish. 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering (patient) toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." But again, the choice has been given to each of us to individually repent and to come to God... or to reject the loving substitute, Savior, Jesus Christ and be forever separated from Him.
Please do not miss the truth of the Word of God or forget the message of the gospel. Our salvation lies in our own choice to believe and receive the free gift our gracious Heavenly Father has provided for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-13 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Those who want a relationship with the God of the Universe, the ONLY Living and True God, will have it at the moment they call upon Him, asking Jesus to forgive them, surrendering to Him their whole heart to live for Him. Then, they will have an eternal inheritance with the children of God, who have been accepted and adopted into the family of God.
This calling on Him, this choosing Him, takes place in this life, in the here and now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "..now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." We are not guaranteed another day. Let's not wait. Accept Jesus to be your Lord and Savior today. Then, get involved and start growing in a church that teaches the full gospel message of deliverance and hope in Jesus Christ.
Thank you very much for your comments. Two years ago I would have written the exact same message to someone believing that God is sovereign and in control of our destiny - however, it's become apparent through much open minded bible study that God is the one who consigned us to sin and He's the one who has mercy on the same ones He has consigned to disobedience. Romans 11:32. Sadly, most Christians think that it is their decision or faith or repentance that triggers God's mercy. As soon as we see that belief and repentance are the RESULT of God's unconditional grace - then we can understand the message of Paul. He never taught decision all regeneration. ---Thanks again. Hope you take time to read the verses on the www.The BVBs.com website. Check out the analogy of Rachel and Ivan in the "Analogies" section. -Mike
(Typo - "decional regeneration". Not decision all generation.)
When you say that you do not want "Typical religious appearance", what are you referencing. Does that mean that you do not want crosses, images of Christ, and things like that, or are you talking about something else?
Thanks for your question. We are not opposed to typical Christian or biblical images (we believe in these things and have a high regard for them) we were just wanting something a little different. However, we're totally open to any ideas you might have. Some of the images on www.TheBVBs.com site might be helpful.
Subtle, almost hidden, wording such as the words in these four verses would be great.
"For God has consigned ALL to disobedience so that He may have mercy on them ALL."
"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
"That is why we labor because we trust in the living God who is the savior of all men, especially those who believe."
"And we have seen and testify that the father has sent His son to be the savior of the world."
THANKS!!!

Thank you for your designs. With Christmas and everyone being out - it may be a day or two for me to get some feedback from my team working on the conference, however, we are pleased with each submission and appreciate each designers time and creative efforts.
We'll provide some detailed feedback by December 27th and do a poll immediately. - THANKS! - Mike
Hello. Your web address does not lead to a site. Also, you did not mention a size or distribution method. Will you print professionally or in-house? Knowing the product use will be helpful (a standard paper flyer must be designed quite differently than one which will be printed professionally, with high gloss finish for example).
Since I cannot see the website, I do not know if you have a logo.
Thank you.
Howdy,
Thanks for your interest. We'll likely use this as a poster and as 8.5 x 11 High Gloss Color flyers in the mail. I'm sure we'll send them out to be done professionally.
Checked the website and it's working. Should be www.TheBVBs.com or www.thebvbs.com
THANKS!!
Mike
