Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new Real Estate company in San Antonio, Texas. The company will either be called Hill+Co Realty or Hill+Co Realtors. I have registered DBA's for both but would like to see a design that incorporates the names before I make a final decision. I specialize in high end luxury real estate so I would like the logo to emphasize; bold, bright, modern, sophisticated, rich, eye-catching while at the time being simplistic and easy to recall. I am playing around with two color schemes in my mind *Green - Lime Green, White, and Gray* and *Orange, Gray, and White* but I am open to any other colors.
I have attached 2 images. The first one is one that I made while messing around on publisher trying to get an idea ( ignore the name, it has since changed) that's kind of the idea I'm going with. The second image is of another company's logo that I really like and would like for the designers to draw inspiration from and make mine similar in fashion. Would really like to see a combination of both images.
