Logo Design Brief

we are a small "arty" type private school located in Dallas, Texas. we are looking for a new/modern logo. easy to read in a block font (not a script or brush like we have now).

I like the round-ness of Arm and Hammer logo - attached

i like the solid color of Netflix - attached

would like to see a solid fill with Reflex blue - but other colors are cool too - looking for a clean and simple look. logo should include out current "icon" - file attached. thank you
