Logo Design Brief

Logo design. I have a current logo that is appealing but in need of help. It looks amateur and needs some refinement. This is a Gourmet popcorn company that specializes in hand crafting beer flavored popcorn combinations. The product is being marketed to breweries and specialty stores.
1) Refine logo, the images are to cartoon like, make outlines more sketchy and thinner

2) Capture a craft brew/retro/vintage look, a few scrolls are nice but it needs to be very easy to read and cannot get lost in the design

3) Use a variety of compatible fonts that are retro/vintage - not to scroll like, needs to be easy to read

4)keep the visual perception of beer and popcorn, this is food and needs to make the consumer hungry

5)keep the word GOURMET POPCORN prominent, beer in a bag is less prominent

6)this is food and needs to appear design savy like all the coolest craft breweries as well as delicious!

The logo will need to be sized to still look appealing on a clear popcorn bag, catalog, printed material and t-shirts.

• Vintage-Retro look, very much in line with the trendy craft brew themes.
• Must have image of beer mug as well as popcorn!

Nice to have

• Versions that look great on white and black backgrounds

Should not have

• the fonts need to have style but not be to script, use a combo of block, sketchy and grunge
