Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a Adelaide based food stall called "SPUD". We are a small food stall open for the Adelaide Fringe 2016, and need a clean, simple logo to go on a rear lit light box (800mm x 800mm canvas decal stuck on cloudy perspex) to draw punters to our stall. The final logo needs to be like a potato stamp, identifiably potato shaped, with "SPUD" etched into it. Needs to be 1 colour, like a classic kids stamp, using the purple in the attached jpeg, with the "Fancy Jacket Potatoes" below, in clean, bold text.

Target Market(s)

Punters in a large beer garden filled multiple bars with circus tents and other food stalls

Requirements

Must have

• 1 single colour (the purple in the attached colour swatch .jpeg)
• Be instantly identifiable as a potato stamp (See attached images)
• Clean sharp edges to the logo (as it will be in sharp silhouette at night when rear lit)
• The mixed texture that potato stamps have (see attached images)

Nice to have

• a childlike charm, but with a clean and bold presentation of the product name within the stamp.

Should not have

• more than one colour
