Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for my own business that I have just started. I have been a cabinet make for 15+ years and now going out on my own. I would like two versions one full colour and the same design as a black & white sketch. I would like the logo to be like an emerald but emphasising the cuts and joins because that is what I specialise in. I want the design to give the impression of quality workmanship and also stir the imagination as it is 'custom' joinery - clients can do whatever design they imagine. I've got two very simple samples of logos I did myself but I want the quality to be much better than that and to look like a real emerald not drawing. Prefer the use of emerald green colours and shades possibly on a dark backdrop with the lines of the emerald very pronounced (standing out). I'd like the word "Emerald" to be bold and be larger/more stand out as Emerald is the company name and custom joinery is what we do.
