Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, called CP Hockey. We do 1v1 skill development as well as group skill sessions and hockey schools. We work on all 5 necessary hockey skills, skating, shooting, passing, stick handling and checking. I want a clean and strong design that looks exciting and eye catching for kids and hockey parents, maybe it has a little west coast feel to it, but more importantly it is a strong logo. The company will be contracted out by minor hockey programs as well as individuals. The company is based out of North Vancouver, British Columbia, but will travel around the planet on contracts.
