We need a logo design for a Campus Crusade for Christ local chapter at the University of Oregon in Eugene (USA).
We are a ministry that is about college students finding life, purpose and meaning in their relationships with their creator. We focus on growing as a person and impacting people in their surroundings and beyond.
We have talked after receiving some of the initial designs. We want to move toward a bicycle logo. Where the letters of cru make up the bicycle. We believe the bicycle captivates some of our distinctives of coming on a journey with us, exploring, adventure, exciting, no cruise control, having to continue to pedal to live moment by moment in the spirit but also capturing the culture of Eugene's green, earthy, nature culture. we like how the bike is modeled after a cruiser, which could also help shift our name association away from crusade.
We do like a little more playful theme modeled after the "good life" type of caricatures. Take a look at the uploaded image where the letters "CRU" or "cru" actually make up the bike. It would change the usage of UO, but perhaps oregon could be spelled out at the bottom of the logo in a fun font as well. At this point, we don't want a person or figure on the bike, but if you want to try we could take a look. I hope this revision helps and we can't wait to see what you come up with.
We would like the logo to use the UofO colors (green, yellow, black) or compliment them and not clash with them. (www.uoregon.edu).
The final design should communicate having an impact, growth, faith and adventure.
