Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a large beautiful boutique villa on the island of Zanzibar, Tanzania. The name of the villa is Zuhuru which means Venus (the star) in Swahili. Words that describe the villa and qualities that the logo should reflect are: elegant, luxury, relaxed, modern, Zanzibar architecture, beachy, turquoise clear water, pristine white beaches, dhow boats. The villa also has amazing gardens. But no cliches like palm trees. I like idea of using a Z to mimic a wave. The logo must have a star in it to represent Venus.

Requirements

Must have

• A representation of Venus the star; and something that conjures up an association with stunning turquoise water & white beaches of Zanzibar. Shapes in the logo should be elegant, modern and flowing.

Nice to have

• I like the idea of an elongated Z representing the waves, elegant script. Zanzibar is also famous for its dhows - but this isn't a requirement for the logo. Colours in the turquoise/blue range with a small pop of vibrant colour.

Should not have

• Cliched palm trees on a yellow island, nothing cartoony.
