Logo Design Brief
*Designers please note- this is a logo project however the submissions should be for the icon/graphic portion only. No text is needed in the design**
Need logo for an Emergency response/emergency mitigation company.
Our primary focus is water damage cleanup. (90%) of all work is water, the rest is fire, smoke, mold,
We are trying to attract single family residents/high end. we are not marketing to apartments. we do perform commercial work.
The Logo does NOT need to reflect that (say for example a image of a building, but also the logo should NOT reflect a home either. it CAN have a roof line or any other lines that portray a STRUCTURE in general but not specifically a home nor an office.
my biz name reads SAN DIEGO Flood Rstoration so this will not be a growth company outside SD. As such i wanted to go with my strengths and focus the logo on San Diego County. other components of logo are:
red on a white background
patch style is an option
a general idea is of a logo could be a red cross, with waves (as you might see on a roadway sign warning people of a flooded road for example. the logo could have lines of a structure as i discussed above and may also include the outline of San Diego County.
I think soft/rounded corners should be used to soften the logo a little bit. the red color should not be a critical red (dark) and not pink either.
lately there seams to be a trend of what i would describe "image icon" type logos, You see these types on alot of websites. they are the images the website owner wants the user to click on. For example; the call button has a phone, the tech support has an outline of a person and keyboard, etc.
I am not sure if this type of "logo" are a fad. but i like how easy they convey the message. i want a simple logo. but must reflect San Diego, Flooding OR waters, and "help" such as a RED CROSS. the red cross should have NO religious Feel or conotation
the logo should convey trust, realiabilty, answers to their problems
