Logo Design Brief

We are in Uptown Vancouver, Wa in a very chic upscale area of town. Our name: The Uptown Barrel. We need a logo that will be the core of our brand. We own the URL: TheUptownBarrel.com. Because the restaurant has a barrel look (oval roof with big wood rafters) and barrels will be everywhere, I would like a brown wood barrel in our logo, a barrel with iron bands, MAYBE a knife and fork crossed behind the barrel to show we sell food plus our name somewhere. Also, we will be selling lots of wine both at the restaurant and online. Wine is a big focus! Women are our prime customers...

Must have

• Need a cool looking wine barrel - big and bold. Plus our name:The Uptown Barrel, and the city: Vancouver, WA.

Nice to have

• 1) We had an idea of a beautiful woman wearing a barrel (nothing else), sitting with legs crossed and holding a glass of wine up in the air. Or, standing with one hand on the barrel and the other holding a glass of wine. Something risky yet tastefully done.
• 2) A barrel with a fork and knife behind it at 45 deg angle.
• 3) Open to anything. But looking for a fun logo that a waitress can wear on the back of a shirt, something we can place on our website, something we can put on our own wine bottle.
