Logo Design Brief

Friendly FYI - The name of the company is "Thaumatrope Entertainment" not Thaumatrope Entertainment Company. Sorry for any confusion. Many thanks!

Need a logo for a production, tv, film, media, and commercial company. Given the name is ancient greek but the company is in media I am looking for a logo design that is either rustic or modern. Simplicity in the design is crucial.

A thaumatrope is an ancient device that facilitates the "persistence of vision." The coined name translates roughly as "wonder turner", from Ancient Greek: θαῦμα "wonder" and τρόπος "turn". Google thaumatrope for more reference.

Our original logo was a screen shot of the state of Michigan's death certificate logo for Harry Houdini (the statue of the Spirit of Detroit). Not a must but wanted to give perspective The legacy of entertainment, tradition, and magic is a theme within the company mixed with the amazing ancient toy. Files are attached.
