Logo Design Brief

We need logo/header for a modern and edgy food & wine news website called ”The Daily Flavours”. We provide restaurants reviews, videos, wine ratings, in-depth and controversial articles for the modern, urban, aware, educated and critical consumer on the international market.
Think header for a magazine that also should work for a newsletter.
We are looking for one of two different styles.
1. A retro old style newspaper head (se attached examples) with a crest and/or symbols. A bit fun and "funky" and "bad prining blurry" doesn't hurt.
OR
2. A contemporary edgy style logo of your mind.
