Poster Design Brief
Logline: Debbie is a heroin addict, that gets high and transports to a fantasy forest where she chases dragons, and attempts to locate her soulmate who disappeared in the fantasy land years earlier. When Debbie gets arrested trying to buy drugs, Samantha, her older sister, and also a police captain, takes Debbie home to live with her, under close supervision, and forces her to volunteer at a local community center. Debbie must endure all of this while detoxing from heroin. Things get even worse when the dangerous gang that kidnapped Debbie’s drug dealer begins moving in on the community center, hoping to use the space as their new hideout.

I have written the script for the film, but need a poster design to help the idea. We don't have any cast yet, so the poster will have to feature a new face. I've included a couple of sketches for what I think the design should look like. There's a vertical line straight down the middle, splitting the poster into two halves. On the left, we can see Debbie as she sees herself in the drug world - a beautiful warrior with armor and weapons, standing in the middle of an enchanted forest - with the threat of a dragon looming overhead (we should see a shadow or some shape of a dragon moving through the clouds high over head.
On the right side - we see the real life Debbie - strung out and detoxing from heroin. She is forced to volunteer in a community center, so we should see a large space with many kids running around behind her. Debbie should have heavy bags under her eyes, her hair is a mess, and she's wearing a tank top. I'm open to the poster just being on her face, or something from the waist up where we can see more of her outfit, and some track marks on her heroin arm.
