Hi,

Just wanted to know what is the significance of the word 'Sky' in the name Skyhook? I know the term 'hook' implies the part of the name to be easily remembered (something like a memorable phrase in a song) so I understand where are you coming from.

One thing I have I mind why you have 'Sky' is that you want the public to see that you can deliver a bigger picture from a simple idea.

The significance of the Sky is that 'bigger picture' idea that you have mentioned, it is also an impression that the sky is all around us and by being hooked into the sky you are able to get right around the world. It is a higher place to which we all aspire (no religious connotations intended here) Also if the sky is presented as a sunny sky it is (for most people) a good/comforting/pleasant/'nice' image.
