Logo Design Brief

We are a new company, making a new crowdfunding platform like kickstarter.com, but only for projects with open ideology, called Crofunded.com. Examples: open source software, music/movies without copyrights, patent free inventions, open, open, open... No licenses, no royalties, no patents, etc. We believe that the evolution is based not only on innovations, but largely on building on top of each others inventions and customizing them. This is a good example, to get the idea (I don't know them, just saw it on youtube):

So in the name Crofunded, the "Cro" is standing for Cro-magnon, neanderthal, you name it. He is something like a character for our brand, who gets funded and invents fire, then gives it to people without royalties.

Must have

• Well, we want the idea of openness to be referred in the logo.
  "OPEN" projects is the key difference between our site and competitor crowdfunding sites!
  

Nice to have

• The logo could be in two colours for "cro" and for "funded". "cro" could be with a different, more neanderthal font or illustrations, to represent the idea of evolution.

Should not have

• We are more likely to select a simpler and stylish logo. We don't like too heavy designs. Do not include money signs or people figures of any type.
