Logo Design Brief
This festival will be a modern makeover of a traditional book festival. Usually at book festivals attendees just walk from one author's presentation to another, stopping to buy books in-between and possibly have them autographed. What we hope to do is include authors but shake things up a bit by offering interactive activities 50% of the time. These will include a writing workshop, local book club meetup at a brewery ("buchgarten"), an adult coloring lounge in the coffee shop at the library, spoken word events including "jailhouse" poets, children's events (meet Pete the Cat, write a song with a famous musician, etc), fandom meetups, romance novel cover art photo booth, etc. et al.
Target Market(s)
Our primary target demographics are millennials and centennials although we have to take into account all library patrons, most of whom are older, so nothing offensive, please.

Requirements
Must have
- We would like our logo to be a stylized version of the name Reader Riot - very much like the Boston Book festival but with a different (maybe rougher) font and different color. For other examples of logos we like, please see attached files.
- Must have: Stylized name, bright color or colors (no more than 2 other than white please). I know I chose several colors below but please don't use them all! :o)
Nice to have
- If we can get away with a single color (other than white) that would be great - it means less expense for printed materials. But we do not want to limit your creativity. Some people on the committee (we are a library) think using red for the primary color would be appropriate since this is a "riot." That said, no one has a specific shade of red in mind. (I know that isn't helpful. Sorry).
Should not have
- Comic Sans or any font like it.
