Logo Design Brief

I AM UPDATING THIS DESCRIPTION. WE HAVE RECEIVED MANY GREAT DESIGNS, BUT WE WOULD LIKE TO WINNING DESIGN TO BE A BIT MORE OF A "HANDCRAFTED' VIBE AND WITH MORE OF A "LETTERPRESS" FEEL. BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL REQUEST:

Create a new corporate logo for HIA Velo. HIA stands for Handmade in America and Velo is the French word for bicycle. HIA Velo will be a composite (carbon fiber) manufacturing company that will manufacture several brands in the cycling industry.

This is not necessarily a brand name. This is the name of the manufacturing company that will create several cycling brands.

We want for the logo to have a vintage American craftsmanship feel, but with a high-tech touch. Simple, not over the top and not necessarily bicycle focused. Think more proud American manufacturing company, but high tech materials.
