Logo Design Brief

I am re-branding my business this year. I do residential and commercial painting. I need a logo that will go on the vans, yard signs, print ads and so on. My current logo is too square and hard to scale down onto yard signs and vans. I am hoping for an icon that can be easily seen on a yard sign and a van that can go next to or on top of my company name 'Chamberland Professional Painting'. That is a lot of letters in my name, so i hope an icon of some sort will soon be as recognizable as the name itself on small things like yard signs etc. I like the blue color in the newest design i have linked to. Im looking for real good design and not just my name written out in a different font. In the rejected idea 1 you can see an attempt at an icon 'the CH' - i didnt like this specific go at it, but i like the concept very very much of having something along side the name that is merely a design. Thanks all- so looking forward to choosing my new logo!

Requirements

Must have

• blue color in the rejected logo 2.
• Some kind of icon along with the name
• Good design that can be scaled onto trucks and yard signs as well as letterhead and business cards.

Should not have

• hopefully no dripping paint, or messy paint brushes and rollers. I like the logo to portray really neat and clean painting, very precise rather than messy.
