We require a logo for our research group. Our group has been set up to translate medical and health research findings into the real world.
The name of the group is 'TREK' and this should be incorporated into the logo. There are a few rationales behind the name:
1. TREK stands for Translating Research Evidence and Knowledge.
2. The dictionary meaning of trek is 'an often long and difficult journey.'
3. Our approach is based on the book 'Switch - how to make change when change is hard' There are three key considerations here: (i) direct the rider; (ii) motivate the elephant; and (iii) shape the path. The logo should reflect this philosophy but not contain the exact test
I have added a couple of images to reflect these concepts, but we want something cleaner and reflective of a strong academic group
