Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for an oil company named Rhoades Oil Company that is based in Midland, TX (please, NO pumpjacks, or oil rigs/derricks in the design). We aren't the company that actually drills the oil wells, we just help those companies find and acquire the best places to drill based on the locations of their existing wells, among a slew of other things.
Our company is named after a family member, Ralph Omer Rhoades - see files for more on him.
We want a logo that communicates trustworthiness and incorporates the words "Rhoades Oil Company" and a graphic.This will mainly be seen in letterheads if it matters. Some terms that may help (besides the obvious) are: survey, land, maps, geology, Included some Illustrator files showing some ideas we've kicked around.
