Kinetic Smart is a new company in the payment technology space. The company exists to help small to mid-sized businesses get ready to accept all types of payments for what they do, sell or for the services they offer.

Kinetic Smart has designed and sells great payment acceptance solutions, including some really useful cloud-based services.

The logo should convey some a clever combination of confidence, value and helpfulness.

Payment and finances can be a sensitive topic so we want to convey a sense of trustworthiness, that we know the business well, our solutions add value and all we want to do is help you grow your business.

If you were looking to accept credit cards for your business, what would you want to see in a logo or design from a company whose products you'd be willing to try.

Below is an older, very amateur logo that we threw together in a hurry. We liked it because the colors (blue = trusting?) and the sense of taking off into flight upwards. I only share this as an example and not a starting point. Please do use your own creativity and imagination with your concepts to help us convey everything mentioned above with an instantly recognizable logo/icon.

Nice to have

• Easy to use on business cards and t-shirts.
• Recognizable from a distance.
• Bold colors.

Should not have

• Please avoid replicating other recognizable logos, for example K-Mart (circle + K), Bluetooth, Kelloggs Special K, USPS.
• Please also do not copy or derive from the example logo given in the brief. I'm looking for original thinking and design.
• Less adaptations of K and S, more original and creative designs.
