Logo Design Brief
In the 1800s, and long common in Europe and Latin America, a 'league' was used to describe a unit of length,
particularly to expresses the distance a person can travel in a short period of time. The 'League of
Brothers' was established by a motivated group of men dedicated to the same pursuit...
To gather together to use each others' knowledge, motivation, accountability and support to maximize the 'distance' they can move together in a short period of time. Merriam-Webster dictionary, also
defines a league as a group or collection of people that gather for common action; an alliance.
The following 7 life categories have been identified as key pillars of growth and development for the LoB:
1). Physical / Kinesthetic
2). Emotional / Intra-personal
3). Mental / Intellectual
4). Financial / Professional
5). Philanthropy
6). Inter-personal / Relationships
7). Spiritual / Existential
This is some brainstorming I've done on the project.
*I'm open to different concepts, but like the idea of a multi-paneled shield that houses the iconic symbols of our 7 foundational principles. (not married to these symbols/icons, etc but would like it to have a look of heritage, culture, tradition, integrity, etc.)
*Include our Est. date of 1.6.16
*The 7 black dots that appear on the right ribbon are actually small geese flying in a v formation- symbolizing the unity and dependability of the group. Would like to include this as well.
*Have had thoughts of potentially expanding this program to Chapters in other states, so would like the logo to be universal/global.
*Don't want a lot of words on the crest- May be best to use 'L.O.B.' or the Latin: Foederis fratrum instead of spelling it out.
Uses: I'd like to eventually be able to turn this into a pin, put it on apparel, stationary, etc.

Must have
- I have a pretty specific idea of what I want (after seeing all your initial ideas. I want the geese in there- I want two masculine lions- I want some modest branches/leaves- and I like a shield that has character/depth that showcases the 7 foundational principles (spaced well) with the meditation icon (sitting) slightly larger and centered in the middle. I also want to make sure the logo looks good smaller and can be in color and b&w. Thank you for your efforts...Feel like we're getting closer.
