Logo Design Brief

I'm starting a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) business to do surveying and photography from drones. I'm looking for a unique logo that will illustrate the contrast between new technology and old-time values. I'll be using a combinations of quadcopters and cameras and other sensing devices to do things like real estate photography, pipeline surveying, 3D modeling of buildings and other structures, and collecting elevation data to do hi-resolution topographic maps. The tools are a quadcopter or fixed-wing "drone", a remote control device, a laptop and an electronic notepad.
