Logo Design Brief

We would like a logo design for Eileen Ivers and her band/project name, which is:
Eileen Ivers Universal Roots
Please note that the word "universal" contains her last name "ivers"

Eileen Ivers is a world renown fiddle player. She has a 5-member band, all multi-instrumentalists, with instrumentation including fiddle, accordion, trumpet, acoustic guitar, upright bass and electric bass, keyboards and drums/percussion and vocals. The music is roots music, based in Celtic and Americana music foundations, for example, Bluegrass, World, Irish Traditional styles of music merged with strong grooves. They perform in performing arts centers/theaters, festivals and with symphonies. More info about Eileen and music videos can be found here:

Requirements

Must have

• - The music is fiddle/violin centric, therefore, the violin is an important image to be represented in some variation.
• - The image should work in color, as well as, in black/gray/white.
• - Image should work in all sizes and colors. We would like to use the logo for concert program brochures, websites, large signs, small printings.

Nice to have

• - A play on the fact that "IVERS" is contained in "UnIVERSal"
• - Eileen plays blue fiddle. Try to incorporate blue color in part of the Violin.
• - would like the image to have a 'hand drawn' feel, as opposed to a ridged frame.

Should not have

• Although the music has a Celtic influence, the logo should not over-emphasis this fact …therefore, it should not be oozing green shamrocks, Celtic knots, etc., but, there can be a tasteful hint of Celtic or Celtic knots.
