Logo Design Brief
ICRIS is a small firm of legal professionals who conduct investigations and coordinate settlements around complaints of civil rights violations in the federal (i.e. US government) workplace. We are not a law firm, but we are similar in terms of the type of work we do and the type of logo we need.
The legal name of our company is ICRIS, LLC.
ICRIS stands for "International Civil Rights Investigations & Settlements" and we would like to get both the acronym and the full name of the company incorporated into the logo, if possible.
We do NOT have any set ideas for theme or color combinations. But, the design should be somewhat muted and not too flashy, since we are dealing with the federal government and rather serious matters of individuals.

Target Market(s)
Federal government and individuals with civil rights grievances. Law firms will probably offer the best examples of what we are looking for in a logo.
