Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for an entertainment company based in Las Vegas. The Rkive markets nightlife , events and food. We rate and review venues/merchants, as well as market events nationally.

Check out Therkive.com you will see a demo website and some of the content that we will display. It is a magazine blog for entertainment. Our original logo from 6 years ago Incorporated a bar code. I want to still incorporate that in a minimal way.

The Rkive should be seen as exclusive and sexy. Sleek and minimal logo prefer black and white open to adding turquoise / teals or reds for a dash of color. But prefer black and white. If possible we would like a logo that can be read as TheRkive or TheRkive.com since we are a web business. I have attached a copy of the old logo. It was to big and bulky missing uniqueness

Requirements

Must have

• A bar code, bar code can be located inside of an icon or shape or by by itself.

Nice to have

• Black and white logo with an option to easily add a version with .com or alternative version of the logo.
• I left examples of logos that I like in the attached files.

Should not have

• Should not be very colorful. I am open to teal or reds, but they should be used minimal.
