Web Design Brief

For the past two years, I've been busy launching my own marketing agency based in New York City. Along the way, I meet countless folks who ask me about my "personal website." Personally, my "website" is usually Buzzfeed or TheAtlantic.com, but that's neither here nor there. I'm looking to finally start blogging, like a real adult, but I don't have time to approach the project, and I don't want to give it to someone on my staff.

I'm a simple man, an old soul. I'm just looking for a site where I can blog. It'll be a one page site (probably ten posts per page, back/forward nav button at bottom), small nav column on left or right side with a photo (maybe, I have a face for radio), links to social, brief bio. Maybe pulling in my latest Tweet or jam (from ThisIsMyJam.com).

Things to think about when you design:
-I love things that are big and bold
-I love travel, books, and film
-I love old maps (like this one: http://hollisterhouse.com/images/Maps_Page_1.png)
-When it comes to color palettes, I usually like earth tones on the web, or go the other way and embrace color with a whole heart. Just don't end up in the middle.
-This is also nice (http://pennyweightblog.com/)
-What I mean when I say Earth Tones (http://simplebits.com/)
