Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my DJ persona, "Some Brown DJ". This logo will be used for self promotion, artwork and to be used on venue posters (needs to be able to be placed on different coloured/types of backgrounds).

I play every weekend in Adelaide, Australia, mostly to an audience of 20-30 year olds.

My style of dj'ing is to play a very large cross section of genres in a playful fun way. I'm a fun out going person, who loves performing to the crowd and meeting new people, and I'd like the logo to reflect that. The style of logo is one that is a typeface combined with a quirky image/character that evokes the fact that I'm a DJ who doesn't take himself too seriously, but love what I do and am just out having fun. The self deprecating nature of my dj name already helps with that.
