Catalogue Design Brief

we need a profile/products catalog design for our company. we are specialized in banking and office related equipment. we have an old design but we need a new refined one. I'm attaching the old one (a higher resolution one can be sent through we transfer) where the products' images are up to date, yet the design is no convincing. the new catalog should have a noticeable identity, properly executed and descriptive with minimal text. the old one is quite big but it has all of the products listed in it. with a description of each category. however, the designer is free to add, amend or delete whatever he/she thinks suitable to grab the attention of the reader.

• Catalog copy must be clear, concise, easy to read, educational or even entertaining. The catalog user must be teased to ask about more information required to make a purchase decision, or risk losing the sale. Ordering information and pricing should be presented in easy to read tables.
• it must be visual, allowing the user to breeze through with minimal effort. Photography supports the visual experience.
• a good info graphic about the company.
