Icon Design Brief

We would like an app icon designed for our product, So Simple. Our product is an app that helps companies get online reviews immediately from their customers and helps to eliminate some of the steps in leaving a review. This is a B to B product to help businesses remember to ask for and get reviews from their customers, and is not meant for consumer use.

We would like a design for the app icon (the square icon you hit on your phone that opens the app) so it's going to be small. Because of this try to make the design simple and minimalistic, but also eye catching for our clients to always be aware of it's presence. We do not have a color scheme at this time, however we feel that bright, eye catching colors are best. Again, this product is meant to remind workers to open the app so they remember to ask for reviews.

Since this is for a review tool, if there is a way to incorporate 5 stars in the design that would be preferable, although we are open to other variations. With the app icon being so small we realize that fitting the starts in that space and still having it look good might not work.

Attached is what we currently have designed, but we feel it's too generic and are looking for other options. I also attached an image of the yellow pages logo. We love how simple and clean the yellow pages' logo looks. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
