Hello~!
I am a bassoon specialist from Canada. I am currently a freelance musician and private music educator and I go from school to school demonstrating and teaching the bassoon. One of the things that I have noticed is that the bassoon is currently fading out of our education system here in Canada.
I believe it is due to many factors: Cost of instruments, knowledge on reeds and perhaps most notably, that the bassoon is a very intimidating instrument. I am currently starting a new bassoon business in Canada focusing on beginner students in Jr. High/High School and am actively seeking out a low cost alternative for the Canadian education market.
Simply put: We sell High Quality cost effective bassoon!

- Cantabile: In music, cantabile [kanˈtaːbile], an Italian word, means literally "singable" or "songlike". In instrumental music, it is a particular style of playing designed to imitate the human voice. For 18th-century composers, cantabile is often synonymous with "cantando" (singing), and indicates a measured tempo and flexible, legato playing.
