Logo Design Brief

This should be a fairly easy re-work ... the basic framework is done. Just need some finalizing.

We need someone to take our current logo and finesse it a little bit. Our business is a locally grown food market with an urban farm. The initial logo was created by one of our owners but he doesn't have time to take it to completion. We'd like to see the "shield" with the 5 sit underneath the word basic. It would be great to tease it a little with the tops of vegetables or wheat. It would be great to keep an organic feel with the colors. We are sold on the green but the other color could be a little more earthy. The "shield" could almost turn into one of those reusable bags that you take to grocery stores. Feel needs to be approachable and timeless.
