Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a startup television station based in San Francisco called "Silk Road TV". We record and broadcast live content to the international asian communities around the world. This logo will be displayed on top or bottom corner of the pre-recorded videos and/or live streaming videos.

Silk Road TV - content consists of news, music/entertainment and talk shows. We would like to see designs that has historical connections to the famous "Silk Road" (we are open to other ideas). The final design should be easy for viewers to identify the "Silk Road TV" brand and connect with TV and Streaming audiences around the globe.
