Web Design Brief

I have very detailed notes to guide you but be creative where needed. Attached are a screenshot of a wp theme i like and how i would like most content cut out and certain parts used. Site should be in blues.

Their current site is VIMICHIGAN.com and you can pull some content and their logo from there (sorry, that is the best i can get from them for logo)

All of the designs are VERY well done and followed instructions well.  They all are very similar and what I was looking for.  But all designers made two consistent mistakes.  For any that wish to be considered and still in the running for the final decision, I need these two changes to your submissions:


1) the designs are too clean / white.  I was looking for the content areas to be shades of blue , dark blue, etc so that the new site design isn't white and clean like their current site.

2) the boxes under the header.  I have seen versions with the grays and blues.  Can we try it with some bold multi colors for pop like red, yellow, green, orange, etc?

3) overall, this is an example site they liked http://www.myjacksoneye.com/ , can you get the site to have some splash of a bold complimentary highlight color and less overall white in the site?
