Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new organization/movement called "Activate Human Capital". We encourage managers to manage their people, not the positions by using eight people-focused principles of management, which in return leads to higher profits. Our logo will be used in social media and webpage marketing as well as for our conference and possibly a book.

We would like to somehow incorporate the fact that there are eight principles and show that something is being "activated". We like the attached design, but are looking for something more eye-catching, professional and high end. The logo should also incorporate the human aspect.
