Logo Design Brief

I am starting on online businesses selling French glassware. The business is called French Glassware!

Initially we will be launching with the La Rochere (www.larochere.com) range of glassware. I don't particularly like their logo as I find it too angular, masculine and a little amateur to be honest.

I am looking for a logo that is sophisticated, yet approachable. Designer, yet accessible. Our target clientelle with be professional women and interior designers - it strong design aesthetic. We will be selling the glassware at a 10% discount to RRP and selling in carton quantities, so that is our core brand positioning.

The La Rochere glassware is renowned for its clarity and its sturdiness (it is dishwasher safe). It is made in France in its factory which dates back to 1475.
