Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a company based in South Western Ontario, Canada. We are a transportation and logistics company who handles shipping heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, bobcats, backhoes, earth movers, wheel loaders, tractors, along with other general cargo like steel, lumber, trucks, utility vehicles and a large number of other items. We would like to see blue used in the designs since we are based in the great lakes area, but we supply service right across Canada, and the continental USA ( also including, Alaska, Northwest Territory, Yukon, and Newfoundland & Labrador).

Target Market(s)

Trucking companies, manufacturers, distributors, auction companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3pl freight brokers and of course other companies / private individuals with freight shipping needs as well.

Requirements

Must have

• Would like to see blue in the logo somewhere.

Nice to have

• Would like something good for tshirts, and on my invoices. Perhaps an incorporation of something with waves reflective of the "great lakes", Canada, and travel (aka Compass - north, east, west, south). Do keep in mind that we do service freight needs anywhere in the USA and Canada though, but I am proud of my roots here in Canada as well.

Should not have

• Would prefer not to have a US flag or anything like that on my logo please.
