Invitation Design Brief

***Update....I am adding an old logo I used to have and actually liked, the quality is terrible on it, but I liked the way Fitz was kinda separated from medical supplies. My name is Fitzgerald so it's incorporated into the name of the company, medical supplies is what I do!! I was showing designs submitted to some friends for feedback and they suggested perhaps the use of 3D in the logo. As the logo will feature on letterhead, web etc ideally it should be on a white blackground. I put the business card in as I like the look of it, the purples are really strong. Traditionally red is a medical industry colour but I like purple, I have seen some logos with gold featured and I like that also. Hope this helps ***

We supply medical products from bandages and dressings to stethoscopes and small equipment to the Irish market. The products are sourced globally and supplied locally which is my current logo theme.
I set the company up 5 years ago and never really believed I could do this. Thankfully my customers had more faith in me and I'm still here and growing, having recently taken on 2 people.
These 2 people will free me up from being the warehouse gal & admin person and I will finally be able to put myself in front of not only existing customers but new customers.
I now believe in both myself and the company and want to be reminded of this when I look at my logo. When my customers look at my logo I want them to see strength, knowledge and friendliness.
Fitzmedical Supplies is about providing great products which serves the customers needs. We are competitive on price but we also know what we're talking about. Our target market are doctors surgeries, primary care centres and eventually hospitals. So we want to be their invisible partner in providing care to their patients through the provision of innovative products and friendly service.

Our message previously was value, competitive etc which meant low prices. This message is changing because I have changed.

I don't want to influence you guys with colour in my logo - you are the experts, I shall leave it with you! I'm very excited about this project and look forward to see your concepts.

Requirements

Must have

• Easy to look at, ideally it will instantly give the message to the customer without them having to process alot of text, colour etc. The logo will fit into branding from stationery, to pens/mugs to my company van.
• Right now I feel like Fitzmedical Supplies is me, however I want the logo to represent the customer and what I would them to feel when they look at the brand - confidence they are dealing with an expert who they can trust to deliver on promises

Nice to have

• I like the idea of a symbol which my customer would identify as Fitzmedical Supplies.
• Clean, Simplicitic with high impact! (is that possible!!)

Should not have

• too many colours
• too much text
• No need for the word Ltd in the logo Fitzmedical Supplies is fine!
