Thank you to all for your interest and submissions.  Obviously, you all take your work veryseriously, and I'd like to proceed as respectfully to all as possible.  Unfortunately, there's not enough time in theday to address all of your worthy efforts with individual messages.  Therefore, I'm going to try and help toassist everyone here on the discussion board.But please, if you have any questions or comments that you'd likeaddressed individually and/or privately, by all means do not hesitate tocontact me.  Thanks again in advance foryour efforts!

Pillar Health & Sport Performance isfounded on long-standing, but only recently re-emerging principles of health,fitness, and essential human movement.All human movement in any activity consists of a mobility component, and astability component...  In short,certain joints in the body must be able to effectively resist movement againstgravity or other external forces, in order for the intended moving body part tobe able to effectively generate the power necessary to create themovement. 

Consider walking on ice, or any slippery, unstablesurface...  You don't feel as coordinatedor free to move as you would on terra firma, do you?  Due to the unstable platform upon which therest of your body (and brain!) are operating, you are forced to change yournormal (efficient) gait to keep from falling down.  You can't move about as freely as younormally would, can you?  (Hockey playersand figure skaters exempted from this analogy!)

Your body functions similarly...  If a joint that is designed by nature to bestable- a platform for movement like the ground- loses its optimal level ofstability, then any joint or segment intending to create movement from that platformwill have to compensate for that instability and movement will becompromised.  Compromised, inefficientmovement reduces power production, and will likely cause injury.

Sorry for the poor anatomy/kinesiology lecture, but I hopeit will assist you in what we're trying to convey with this logo...  A solid stable platform that enables optimalmobility is the foundation for the highest performance in any activity.
