Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new digital gaming platform and network called 'peergamer'.
Peergamer is a new digital gaming platform that enables people to challenge each other to mobile and social games for real money.
Our customers fall into two groups:
(1) People who play digital games on their mobiles and online ('end-users')
(2) Game developers who create mobile & social games; the peerGamer platform will be integrated into developers' games (mobile, social) and used by end-users
The final design should convey a sense of fun, 'social' and be recognisable. peerGamer is all about facilitating fun games between players so the social, fun aspect is key.
A key thing to bear in mind however, is that as people will be depositing money with us the final design can't look too childish (it needs to communicate financial safety and be deemed trustworthy by end-users).

PG initials:
Hi guys. We're seeing quite a few designs featuring both initials PG. We're keen to avoid P and G as people may think of P&G (as in Proctor & Gamble). We're definitely keen to see designs doing something cool with the 'P' (or lowercase) though, perhaps including the gaming element?
Social:
We posted an update recently which included a link to a prominent VC company. Those guys have invested in some awesome social startups (foursquare, Boxee, soundcloud, tasty labs etc) who have really good logos. Hope this helps refine what we're looking for; think social!

Must have
- App-friendly logo:
peergamer works across all platforms and therefore any logo designed will need to allow us to create an 'app' logo out of it at some stage (iOS & Android). We imagine this would be something using the 'p'.
We also imagine this would also be a social button (e.g. +1/'like'), a brand identifier that is instantly recognisable and will be embedded into websites, emails, social media etc as a call to action
Nice to have
- Capitalisation:
We are keen to see designs with and without a capital 'P' and 'G' (for peer and gamer respectively)
Should not have
- Global appeal:
Our platform will be used by end-users in all continents (especially the Asia) so therefore we don't want any symbols or icons that to your knowledge may be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
