The "circle R" is a registered trademark symbol that indicates a symbol is registered for use by the US Trade Mark office. It looks like this: ® I provides some protection for the user and keeps other people from copying it. I have provided you with a link to Wikipedia below.

For us, it means that our little tag line should look like this: Life's a Charm® . I gave you an example of how the symbol is used on Coca Cola too.
