Logo Design Brief
Natural Resources Analytical Laboratory (NRAL) is a cost recovery, University of Alberta laboratory that services the department of Renewable Resources, the University of Alberta and some government and private industry. Our main focus is providing quality laboratory analysis for environmental research projects, testing gasses, soils, water and biologic material. We have a wide array of techniques, equipment, and analyses that we provide both as a service and for student teaching.
We would like a simple, clean logo for NRAL that can be use on a website as well as on print material.
1. The logo should include the letters NRAL.
2. We do not have a preference on font.
3. It should have 2 or more colours but should still be able to be printed in black and white without losing detail.
4. We would like a graphic element to it but nothing complex.
Just for a reference, the university colours are green (Pantone Coated/Uncoated 356C/356U) and gold (Pantone Coated/Uncoated 7405C/7404U) and the website for our department is www.rr.ualberta.ca.
We would prefer not to have green and gold, instead we would like it to compliment the university colours and website.
