Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new company based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) called "A2 Group." We sell firearms and firearm accessories and train civilians, law enforcement agents, and military personnel in the safe and effective utilization of handguns, rifles, and carbines. Our state-certified training programs are developed in-house by our master instructors and constantly updated, combining state-of-the-art technological prowess with real world lessons learned.
We would like to see designs that use the colors Black (Hex# 000000) and Olive Green (Hex# 445525). Designers are highly encouraged - but not required - to incorporate into their design(s) a graphic of the front sight post of the M16A2 rifle (see attached photo).
The final design should communicate security, precision, honor, and integrity.

Greetings, designers!First and foremost, we'd like to thank everyone who's submitted a design so far. Your designs look FANTASTIC, and to say we're "impressed" would be putting things mildly.Here are a few updates and notions to consider:1.) While we've chosen to leave it OPTIONAL, we ARE gravitating toward designs incorporating the M16A2 rifle's front sight post (see the attached file in our creative brief). Given the fantastic designs we've seen thus far, we don't want to rule out altogether the possibility of choosing a logo without this graphic. Nevertheless, designers are STRONGLY encouraged to submit logos incorporating this graphic.2.) We've updated the FONTS section of the creative brief, so be sure to check that out. Basically, as long as fonts are clean and legible, we'll take them into consideration. If we find a design's font to NOT be what we're looking for, we'll do our best to provide timely feedback so the designer has the opportunity to revise their submission.3.) While this project was intended solely to find our business' PRIMARY logo, and we can only choose ONE, some designs we've received have given us pause to consider other areas in which we'll need designs - in the very near future.Again, many thanks. Updated 26AUG16: Designers are also highly encouraged - but not required - to incorporate into their designs (specifically inside the letter O in the word "Group") a graphic of crosshairs, thereby making the letter O look like a rifle scope reticle (see four newly-uploaded photos as examples).

Hello, designers! Thank you ALL for your wonderful submissions! Things have been pretty hectic on our end, but we fully intend to make our final logo decision sometime in the next 48 hours. We appreciate your hard work and patience, and please know that you've all given us a lot to smile about. We received 180 separate designs from over 40 designers, and we're thrilled.
