Business Card Design Brief
I am looking for a design that captures the adventure and excitement of traveling the world on a motorcycle (both on road and off road). I want to incorporate and emphasize how the motorcycle rider is able to take in the natural beauty of the planet while on their bike, and highlight the opportunity to enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds that are not otherwise noticed in a car or by other means of transportation. It is important to me that the logo will facilitate a desire in others to come along for the ride and feel the essence of how a motorcycle can take you anywhere. There are limitless possibilities! I would also like to tie in the world as a whole, and possibly some specific destinations such as a mountain, body of water, etc. Perhaps a village to tie in culture, as well as the beautiful connections and strong community that motorcycling facilitates.
If you check out my Instagram page, you will be able to get an idea of the many places I have gone on adventures so far, and how I hope to expand my following. I am an avid photographer and you will also notice the colors and styling that I prefer based on my photographs and the manner in which I dress and present myself. This will clue you in to the type of consumer that I am looking to reach, and will help you to understand the passion I have for riding and seeing the world.
*Design Hint: The adventure motorcycle that I ride is a BMW R 1200 GSA. This will be helpful to consider when tying a motorcycle into the logo as the styling, purpose, and audience for adventure riding is much different than say a Harley or other strictly street bike.*
