Logo Design Brief
I need a company logo for a website I'm launching. It's a fashion blog and e-commerce site for male babies/toddlers 6mths - 3yrs. It will be one of the first of its kind so I'm looking for something uber cool (and a touch of cheekiness). The site will include tips on making your son look fashionable (not the usual t-shirts with racing cars etc) and I will also sell super cool clothing sets ("Too cool for pre-school"), accessories, shoes, sunglasses... Basically anything to make your child stand out from the crowd. My son (10mths) is the hero of the site so I will be using beautifully crafted photos of him in the latest looks including an Instagram feed. I will be using a website template from ThemeForest called "InVogue".
The logo will be used on the following touchpoints: website, Facebook, Instagram, invoices, business card and a circular sticker.

Thank you for the designs thus far. Could I ask for the logo designs to avoid using DLD initials. This feels more like a design device rather than a branding one. As it's a new brand, I would like "Dapper Little Dude" to be more clear. And where possible, please avoid making the design too wide. On certain touch points eg Facebook or Instagram, it will limit the size of the font.

- * Needs to be compact to fit on social media and closure sticker (wrapping garments in tissue paper)

- * I don't want to see any images of a baby as this could limit direction of the brand i.e. when my son gets older than 3yrs I may still continue the idea and increase the target audience age.
- * Try to avoid cliches as I want the brand to be pioneering and cliches can give the impression of being a bit mainstream in our offerings
